Morning prayers

You are ushering in another day, untouched and freshly new. So here I am to ask you God, if you will renew me too. Forgive me the errors that I made yesterday and let me try again dear God to walk closer in your ways. But Lord, I am well aware I can't make it on my own. So take my hand and hold it tight, for I cannot walk alone.

The Angelus (Suggestion: make this a midday prayer)

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary, and she conceived by the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary… Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to your word. Hail Mary… And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. Hail Mary…

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Let us pray. Pour forth; we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts that we to whom the incarnation of Christ, your Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may, by his passion and cross, be brought to the glory of his resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Evening Prayer

My God, at the end of this day I thank you most heartily for all the graces I have received from you. I am sorry that I have not made a better use of them. I am sorry for all the sins I have committed against you. Forgive me, O my God, and graciously protect me this night. Blessed Virgin Mary, my dear heavenly mother, take me under your protection, Amen.

Night Prayer

Save me, Lord while I am awake; protect me while I sleep; that I may keep watch with Christ and rest with Him in peace.

At last, all-powerful Master, you give leave to your servant to go in peace, according to your promise. For my eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared for all nations, the light to enlighten the Gentiles and give glory to Israel, your people.

Glory be to the father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen

Save me, Lord while I am awake; protect me while I sleep; that I may keep watch with Christ and rest with Him in peace.
