Parish LunchIn common with many parishes, St Clare's tries to encourage people to come together for fun as well as worship, prayer or study. One of the ways that we do this is, every six weeks or so a 'parish lunch' is organised at various Hostelries in the area.

Anthony Donlan, who organises them writes:

"Thirteen people attended the recent Parish Lunch held at the New Drop Inn, near Longridge. We dined in the main dining room with its splendid views across the spectaular Ribble Valley. This added to the ambience and combined with the splendid fayre and warm hospitality to make the event a most pleasant experience."

The lunches are open to everyone and transport can usually be arranged. The next one will be in late July.
The idea is to keep an eye on the Parish Bulletin and watch for the next Lunch to be announced.
