'When you did this to one of the least of these - you did it to me.' So said our Lord, Jesus referring to the fact that our good action are always directed to him, often in the guise of the poor.
And so it is that the parish continues to reach out to our friends in the former refugee settlement in Bosnia Herzegovina. Our latest fund raising event is to send some of our young people to Hodovo in the summer to help in the refurbishment of the little school out there. And that was the reason for holding a Quiz Night in the Parish Hall where a goodly number of parishioners turned up to exercise the 'little grey cells.' Over £200 was raised - still a long way to go!
