Nessum Dorma - None Shall Sleep! This could have been the strapline for the 'sleepover' held at St Clare's School Friday night to Saturday morning. The boys and girls in Years 5 & 6 paid £10 to stay at school overnight to raise funds for the Hodovo Project.
It was a fun-filled night with games and quizzes and pizzas; and also a time for night prayers. These took place at 8.45pm when there was a break from games and the girls and boys came and sat quietly in church. They prayed for their friends in Hodovo and used some Croatian hymns to underscore their closeness to them. Parents, family, friends and school were also remembered before Jesus exposed in the Blessed Sacrament. And then, following the blessing, quitely out of church and back to all the hubhub!
