Once again this year, the boys and girls from St Clare's School led us in a Service of thanksgiving for the blessings of the harvest
All the children took part, even the little ones who had only entered Reception Class a few weeks before. There was choral speaking, prayer, art work, glorious singing and a complete atmosphere of joy. The children time and again reminded us of the blessing that we have and that therefore, it is incumbent upon us, in their words to, 'share, share, share.'
The gifts which the families and the school gardening club presented will be taken to some of the sick and elderly parishioners.
