Our parish school has undergone a Section 8 (one day) Inspection. The outcome was as expected, the school was judged as 'good.' Her Majesty's Inspector who undertook the Inspection made some very complimentary comments about the way the school is managed and run. The pupils too, receive great praise.

The Enrolment Mass for the First Confession Course was the culmination of a very busy weekend: Friday - Parish Quiz; Saturday morning - Duck Race (!); Saturday afternoon - Messy Church and then Sunday morning dawned and saw the boys and girls in church together to begin their preparation.

A group of parishioners, young and old, turned out on the morning of Saturday 24th September for the 2016 Duck Race, which took place on the River Brock at the Brock Valley Picnic Site.
