On Palm Sunday we processed through the streets, marking the Lord's entry into Jerusalem, the beginning of Holy Week.
After a brief service on Tower Lane, we walked through the streets of Fulwood, singing and praying, just as the crowds sang and praised Jesus as He rode into Jerusalem.
Outside the church our palms were blessed, and we listened to the Gospel reading, which told of the Lord's triumphal - yet humble - entry into the Holy City.
We then processed into the church, waving palm branches, for the celebration of Mass, during which we heard St Luke's account of the Lord's Passion.
