On Fridays during Lent we have a 'hunger lunch' after the midday Mass.

This evening parishioners came together for the parish race night, a chance to enjoy each other's company and have a flutter on some horse races, all with the aim of raising some money to help send young people of the parish to Lourdes.

Last Saturday young children and their families came over to the parish hall for 'Messy Church', a great way of helping some of the youngest members of our parish to discover more about our faith.

Today is the Feast of St Joseph, the spouse of Our Lady and the Guardian of the Universal Church. It gives us a little break from our Lenten observance - you can't fast on a feast day! This morning we had a beautiful celebration of morning prayer, followed by Mass for the feast day. Our statue of St Joseph stands on the sanctuary for the day, a reminder to us to ask St Joseph to pray for us and watch over us all.
