Pentecost Novena 2020

Written by Andrew Allman on .

In the days between the Ascension of the Lord and Pentecost, Mary, the holy women and the Apostles joined in continuous prayer, awaiting the Holy Spirit promised by the Lord. Following this, it is a great tradition of the Church to keep a novena - nine days of prayer - ahead of major feasts. As we approach Pentecost Day, we make a novena asking for a renewal of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives. At St Clare's this year we will pray the novena each morning after 10am Mass. Join us on our YouTube channel to pray with us. The prayers for the novena are available for download below:

You are also welcome to join us for an online Day of Recollection on Saturday 30th May, beginning with 10am Mass. Full details and the timetable will be published soon.
